PRIVATE 1:1 TRAINING PROGRAM:

private training sessions are best for dog owners that want to be very involved in the training process. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE AND BE PRESENT IN THE SESSIONS. each private session is APPROXIMATELY 1hr & take place once a week (if you go with a 5 session package, it would be 5 weeks). simple homework is given after each session to keep you on track until the next meeting. Most sessions will take place in your home but we will also venture out to public spaces.

All packages include advice on how to best help you and your dog thrive during this process. We’re here to help with anything from crate training, potty training, feeding routines, grooming, first-aid, etc. and offer availability via phone/text for any questions/concerns that arise during business hours. Please send videos for help with any specific dog behaviors! It’s much easier to give feedback this way! IT’S IMPORTANT TO US THAT YOU FEEL SUPPORTED DURING THIS JOURNEY!

Basic Obedience Package (4 Sessions): $650

• 1st Session: Introduction to loose leash walking. Learning “sit” with impulse control and practicing inside your home and outside with distractions. Building trust, confidence and understanding on how to best communicate with your dog.

• 2nd Session: Learning “down” with impulse control and practicing inside your home and outside with distractions. Review of 1st session and continued relationship building. Based on each individual dog we might introduce a different type of collar/tool for new levels of communication.

• 3rd Session: What works best for your lifestyle? After completing the foundation of the first two sessions we can begin working on a new skill! I suggest either “recall”, “place”, or “heel”. We can decide in the session, what works best for you. In some cases, certain dogs need more than two sessions to confidently perform the foundation of impulse control. In those circumstances, we may use the 3rd session to continue to work on “sit” and “down”.

• 4th Session: Let’s put you both to the test! If you’re dog has been an A+ student, then let’s spend this session “proofing” and practicing with your dog out in the world. We can go to public spaces (farmer’s market, mall, store, restaurant, coffee shop, soccer game, office, park etc.) or anywhere else you want your dog to have reliable obedience.

Advanced Obedience Package (6 Sessions): $950

• 1st-4th Sessions: Everything that is included in the Intermediate Package above.

• 5th Session: What works best for your lifestyle? Based on your dogs progress and what was covered in the 3rd and 4th sessions, we can continue to further your dogs education. For example, if your dog learned “place” in the 3rd session, then “recall” in the 4th session then we can cover “heel”. We can decide in the sessions what works best for you. In some cases, certain dogs need more than three sessions to confidently perform the things they’ve learned so far. In those circumstances we may use the 4th session to continue to work on those commands.

• 6th Session: Let’s put you both to the test! If you’re dog has been an A+ student, then let’s spend this session “proofing” and practicing with your dog out in the world. We can go to public spaces (farmer’s market, mall, store, restaurant, coffee shop, soccer game, office, park etc.) or anywhere else you want your dog to have reliable obedience.

ADDITIONAL PRIVATE SESSIONS:

LET’S DO EVEN MORE WITH YOUR DOG! YOU must complete ONE OF OUR OBEDIENCE PACKAGES IN ORDER TO GAIN ACCESS TO THESE SERVICES — BUT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE IMMEDIATELY AFTER COMPLETION OF AN OBEDIENCE PACKAGE. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE AND BE PRESENT IN THE SESSIONS. each private session is APPROXIMATELY 1hr & WILL PRIMARILY TAKE PLACE IN PUBLIC SPACES. DEPENDING ON WHAT WE’RE WORKING ON, WE COULD DO MULTIPLE SESSIONS IN 1 WEEK. REMINDER THAT EVERY DOG IS DIFFERENT & SOME DOGS NEED MORE TIME IN ORDER TO MASTER A NEW SKILL, THE TIMELINE BELOW IS THE IDEAL SITUATION.

Off Leash E-Collar Training Package (5 Sessions): $825

• 1st Session: Depending on how reliable your dog is with their basic obedience, typically during the first session we take the time sharpening up your dog’s recall on a long line. We can do this at a park or in your yard, but I would recommended we start off in a more relaxed environment. During the session, we’ll go over what exactly the e-collar is and the benefits that it can have for you and your dogs life. The price of the e-collar is not included in the training package. We can talk about which e-collar you should buy so you can order it in time for next weeks session.

• 2nd Session: Introduction to the e-collar! This session we will begin using the e-collar along with a long line leash. Combining them together helps your dog understand what the sensation of the e-collar means. We’ll still be working at a park with lower distractions.

• 3rd Session: Let’s drop that long line! It’s time to start giving our dogs the freedom they’ve earned! We’ll spend this session exploring a new park and using the e-collar to communicate with your dog. We will go over verbal commands with your dog off leash in order to keep them safe while being off leash with you.

• 4th-5th Sessions: Let’s go on some adventures to test your skills! We recommend hiking & going to the beach. During this session you, the owner, will primarily be working with their dog with the added support of a trainer there to keep everything on track. Having your dog off leash in new spaces for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want you to be as confident as possible during this process.

GROUP CLASSES:

our GROUP CLASSES ARE ONLY AVAILABLE TO DOGS THAT ARE EITHER IN-PROGRESS OR ALUMNI TRAINING CLIENTS. YOU HAVE TO COMPLETE AT LEAST THE 1ST SESSION OF A PRIVATE PACKAGE — OR HAVE COMPLETED AT LEAST THE 1ST WEEK OF DAY TRAINING IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CLASS. SPECTATORS ARE WELCOME. DAY TRAINING PROGRAM:

our day training program is best for dog owners that don’t NECESSARILY have the time/energy to work with their dog consistently during the most important parts of their training process. it is also great for dogs that have behavioral issues, anxiety, aggression or even just take a little longer to open up to a new person. each day training session is APPROXIMATELY 1-3hrs depending on what we are working on that day. sessions are 4 days a week, either monday-thursday or tuesday-friday. YOU WILL only BE REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE in the last session of the week (thursday or friday based on the schedule). during that session we will recap everything your dog has learned over the week and spend time teaching you how to communicate with your dog. the sessions will take place either in your home or out & about.
after your evaluation our trainer will develop a plan for your dog based on where your dog is at now & what you would like to ACHIEVE with your dog. every session comes with EXPLANATORY videos and pictures of what we did that day. please check our instagram to see examples. day training clients also get 1 free group class as part of their program. below is a rough example of what 2 weeks of our day training program would look like:

PUPPY TRAINING PROGRAM:

DID YOU JUST GET A PUPPY THAT’S 6 MONTHS OR YOUNGER? THEN THIS PACKAGE IS FOR YOU! PUPPIES ARE INCREDIBLY CUTE BUT ALSO REQUIRE AN INCREDIBLE AMOUNT OF WORK. THE BEST APPROACH TO TRAINING YOUNG PUPPIES IS WITH SHORT & SWEET TRAINING SESSIONS. YOUR PUPPY’S BRAIN IS STILL DEVELOPING. THEY HAVE A SMALL ATTENTION SPAN — & THEY WON’T NECESSARILY UNDERSTAND/RETAIN MUCH FORMAL TRAINING. WE WILL PRIMARILY PLAY GAMES & USE TREATS TO TEACH YOUR DOG APPROPRIATE BEHAVIORS. we will also spend a lot of time talking about how you can best incorporate your new furry baby into your lifestyle & set them up for success as an adult dog living in the city.

THE basic PUPPY TRAINING PROGRAM IS 4 (1HR) SESSIONS, TWICE A WEEK FOR 2 WEEKS — OR YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO ADD ADDITIONAL SESSIONS SPACED FARTHER OUT (ONCE A WEEK OR EVERY OTHER WEEK AFTER THE 4 BASIC SESSIONS ARE FINISHED). YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE AND BE PRESENT IN THE SESSIONS.

OVER THE COURSE OF THIS PROGRAM YOU’LL LEARN EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT OWNING A PUPPY. we will go over:

BOARD & TRAIN PROGRAM:

Board & train is essentially pet sitting + training. your dog would come & stay at our trainer’s home w/ their pets — it is a fully IMMERSIVE program. your dog would have daily training sessions & come on daily pack walks as well as hikes/adventure days. they will have round the clock supervision & enrichment. it’s great for dogs that need strict boundaries to achieve their training goals. it is also a great program for very young puppies that need. it’s important to stay consistent,especially when it comes to dogs with behavioral issues if this is something you’re STRUGGLING with, board & train might be the way to go! Our board & train program is only available to select clients — please let us know asap if you’re interested in this program.
